Poyner Baxter has today filed a class action lawsuit against Honda Canada Inc.

The lawsuit claims that Honda sold or leased certain 2000 to 2007 models of Hondas and Acuras in Canada that had odometers which inflated the distance traveled by 2.5% to 4%. It claims that this defect has reduced the effective period of the warranties, reduced the resale value of the vehicles, and for leased vehicles has caused charges for excess kilometres or early conclusion of the lease.
