On October 13th, 2011 Poyner Baxter LLP filed a proposed class action against Ford Motor Company and Ford Motor Company of Canada ("Ford") on behalf of all persons in British Columbia who purchased a Ford vehicle equipped with the 6.0 Litre Power Stroke Diesel Engine ("Power Stroke Engine") during the model years 2003 to the present.
The claim alleges that since its introduction in 2003, Ford has become aware of numerous quality, design, manufacturing and reliability defects with the Power Stroke Engine, yet has continued to sell Ford vehicles equipped with the Power Stroke Engine to purchasers in British Columbia.
